DescriptionThe Ambulatory Infusion Pharmacy Technician will report
to the ambulatory infusion manager, and will provide distributive
pharmacy services primarily to outpatients of the Medical
University clinics. This position will address the needs of
ambulatory infusion patients, and ensure timely and appropriate
dispensing of infusion medication to patients for assigned areas;
will be trained and proficient in preparation of hazardous and
non-hazardous sterile products in accordance to USP 797 and USP 800
standards. The ideal candidate will be a motivated team-player with
excellent time management and communication skills. This position
may require the candidate to cover other ambulatory infusion
pharmacy operations as needed.Additional Job DescriptionHigh school
diploma or equivalent (GED) and Current registration as a Pharmacy
Technician by the State of South Carolina Board of Pharmacy
(SCBOP), and national certification by the Pharmacy Technician
Certification Board (PTCB) is required and must be maintained.
Additionally, the applicant is preferred to have an additional
area-specific certification (may include but not limited to state
certification, compounding certification, etc. One year of pharmacy
