If so, we want you to join our team as a Digital Automation Technician, where you'll play a critical role in maintaining and optimizing state-of-the-art automated systems for our valued partner.

Type: Full-Time / Contract only

Pay Rate: $25/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
What You'll Do:

As a Digital Automation Technician, you'll work on-site at our partner's facility to ensure seamless operations of advanced robotic and automation systems. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintenance & Repair:
    • Perform preventative and break-fix maintenance on robotics, workstations, and automation systems.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, mechanical, and electro-mechanical issues.
    • Conduct system inspections, cleaning, and component replacements to ensure optimal functionality.
    • Technical Expertise:
      • Diagnose problems using repair manuals, tools, and maintenance systems.
      • Serve as a second-level technical resource, guiding other technicians as needed.
      • Identify root causes of failures and implement solutions to prevent future issues.
      • Customer Interaction & Documentation:
        • Collaborate with support teams to address operational challenges during downtime windows.
        • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using the client's Maintenance Management System.
        • Communicate effectively with the client and partner teams to ensure service excellence.
        • Safety & Compliance:
          • Adhere to safety protocols, including lockout/tag-out procedures.
          • Follow established Standard Operating Procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. What You Bring to the Role:
            • Hands-on experience with automation, robotics, and electro-mechanical systems.
            • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
            • Proficiency with tools and diagnostic software for system maintenance and repair.
            • Commitment to safety standards and operational efficiency.
            • A desire to learn and grow through ongoing technical training. Qualifications (Education, Experience, and Certifications):
              • Required:
                • Associate degree, 4-year apprenticeship, or equivalent experience/training in Robotics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical fields.
                • Experience and proficiency with automated systems, software-based controls, and electrical/electronic principles.
                • Demonstrated professionalism and ability to serve as a role model through appearance and behavior.
                • Preferred:
                  • Degree from a vocational school or college focusing on Robotics, Mechanical, or Electronics fields.
                  • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize projects effectively.
                  • Strong independent work skills and self-motivation.
                  • Physical dexterity with the ability to stand for long periods.
                  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for interaction with peers, management, contractors, and vendors.
                  • A customer-centric attitude with a focus on teamwork and achieving shared success. IND98
