Job Description:
The patient sitter is a member of AnMed's Resource Team and
should expect to float between AnMed units. The Patient Sitter is
assigned to remain with a patient who is deemed a risk to
themselves or others to ensure the patient is in a safe environment
and is visualized at all times.
Duties can include:
* Accompanying patients to any procedure off the unit and remaining
with the patient in the room, including when needing to go to the
bathroom and shower.
* Completion of proper documentation
* Immediately reports any change in behavior or mood to assigned
RN
Qualifications:
* High School diploma or GED equivalency is required.
