Position Summary
At Atrium Health, we are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality radiographic images, working closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, utilizing radiation safety practices to produce high-quality images.
  
• Document patient history and confirm patient identification, ensuring accurate and efficient workflow.
  
• Collaborate with radiologists and other physicians to consult on patient care, as necessary.
  
• Operate and maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  
• Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to departmental standards and regulations.
  Physical Requirements
  Requires strenuous physical effort, including assisting patients with mobility issues, handling equipment, and maintaining a safe working environment. Must possess excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals. May be required to frequently stretch, bend, twist, squat, or kneel, as well as adapt to changing physical conditions, including temperature and humidity fluctuations.
  Education and Experience
  A successful completion of a formal Radiology Technology Program in an AMA-approved facility is required. Registration by the ARRT is also required, or registry eligibility with registration within 1 year of hire date. One year of direct patient care work experience is preferred, and BLS certification is required per policy guidelines.
