School of Medicine Job Description The Thompson Center for Autism
and Neurodevelopment and the Department of Psychiatry at the
University of Missouri-Columbia are seeking a Child and Adolescent
Psychiatrist to join our growing team. Position Highlights: ---
Serving children with autism spectrum disorders and other
neurodevelopmental conditions
--- Multi-disciplinary setting with 7 physicians, 3 APPs, 6
Psychologists and 9 Therapists
--- Fully integrated with MU's academic training and research
missions About the Thompson Center The Thompson Center for Autism &
Neurodevelopment is a nationally recognized, interdisciplinary
center with experts across 15+ clinical subspecialties including
pediatrics, psychiatry, psychology, neurology, speech-language
pathology, occupational therapy, applied behavioral analysis,
genetics, and social work. We're currently undergoing an exciting
expansion including: --- Brand-new 74,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art
facility
--- Features an adaptive playground, therapy gym, training caf--
and group therapy rooms
--- 1st Intensive Outpatient program in the state
--- Ability to double our volumes over the next few years to 30,000
visits
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Board certified/board
eligible child and adolescent psychiatrist
