Responsibilities:

--- Refer patient to dental specialists such as pediatric dentists, orthodontists, endodontists, and periodontists when appropriate
--- Assess the patients' overall dental health and look for presence of dental diseases, by thoroughly examining the patients' teeth using diagnostic tools, procedures, and instruments
--- Coordinate and perform preventive dental care treatments such as sealants, x-rays, flossing, fillings, and fluoride applications, and cosmetic dental services such as whitening when indicated
--- Teach patients how to use recommended devices for orthodontics and dental appliances, such as dentures and retainers and educate on the importance of good oral hygiene
--- Manage dental hygienists, associate dentists, dental assistants, and administrative staff, and communicate with support staff regarding patient care plans


Qualifications:

--- 2+ years in clinical or private practice dentistry experience is required
--- Should be computer proficient
--- Requires CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications
--- Strong bedside manner and great communication skills are necessary
--- Board Eligible and/or Board Certified in General Dentistry
--- Years of experience working with restorative cases & surgical procedures
