Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist I to join our radiology team at Atrium Health Mountain Island Emergency Department.Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans and related procedures in accordance with departmental protocols and standards.
• Operate CT scanners and associated equipment with a high level of proficiency, including scanner, post-processing stations/programs, IV contrast injectors, oxygen and suction equipment, patient transport, and patient monitoring equipment.
• Ensure accurate identification and preparation of patients for procedures, including explaining the process and documenting relevant information.
• Collaborate with radiologists, anesthesiologists, and other medical personnel to ensure smooth exam execution and accurate results.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to radiation safety standards and hospital infection control policies.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated on the latest technologies and procedures.Requirements and Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Current ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine, with advanced registry in CT scanning within one year of hire.
  • CPR certification.Work EnvironmentAtrium Health Mountain Island Emergency Department is a 24-hour emergency medical services facility providing care to the Northwest Charlotte area. The selected candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with rotating shifts, including call-backs, holidays, and weekends.
