Responsibilities include:

• Collecting data and completing nursing assessments to inform patient care
• Developing individualized plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Providing direct care to patients and delegating tasks to other healthcare professionals as needed
• Monitoring patient progress and adjusting care plans as necessary
• Communicating with patients and families to ensure their needs are metRequirementsEducationAn Associate's Degree in Nursing is required, with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. One year of experience as a Registered Nurse is also required.
  
  Professional LicensureLicensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina is mandatory. In lieu of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience, successful completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or a comparable residency from another organization may be considered.Work EnvironmentThe acute inpatient setting at Prisma Health requires flexibility and adaptability, with occasional weekend, holiday, and on-call work.
