Job SummaryAs a Clinical Nurse Specialist on our Inpatient Neuroscience Unit, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading our interdisciplinary team in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care. With a focus on safety, quality, and patient satisfaction, you will work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.Essential Functions:

• Collects data and completes nursing assessments, utilizing appropriate standards and tools to identify patient priorities and develop individualized care plans.
• Provides direct care to assigned patients, implementing and evaluating evidence-based interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to coordinate care, ensure timely and effective communication, and promote a culture of safety and quality.
• Identifies opportunities for quality improvement and implements evidence-based solutions to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Teaches and mentors new staff members, promoting a culture of professional development and excellence.Qualifications:
  • Associate degree in Nursing; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • One year of experience as a registered nurse in an acute inpatient setting.
  • Successful completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or comparable residency program accepted in lieu of experience.Additional Information:This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive. The acute inpatient setting may require staff to be scheduled for a weekend, holiday, and on-call work. This position is bonus eligible.
