  • Job Details
  • Key communication skills to communicate with patients, radiologists, and other care team members.
  • Able to ease patients' stress and anxiety about procedures.
  • Extensive knowledge in vascular anatomy and radiation safety.
  • Understands concept of good body mechanics to help move and transfer patients.
  • Able to maintain sterile fields and document cases thoroughly and accurately.
  • Able to solve problems and adapt to changing circumstances under pressure.
  • Passionate and reliable.
  • Number of Beds/Cases: 10-15/day
  • Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: Port Placements, Lumbar Punctures, Nephrostomy tube placement, Strokes, GI Bleeds, Cerebral angio/coiling, ESI's, myelograms, dialysis catheter placements
  • Special procedures done on the unit: Stroke, Cerebral angio, GI Bleeds, Neurovascular coiling
  • Common Medications: steroids, lidocaine, contrast
  • Common Equipment: c-arms, contrast injectors, ultrasound, Bi-plane unit
  • 3 fulltime Techs
  • Required/Preferred Skills: Line Management Skills: Preferred: IV Insertion

    • For roles with a guarantee, Boone Health can call off staff for up to 36 hours in a contract
